Destination Wedding on the Mendocino Coast

The Mendocino Coast is one of Californias most beautiful oceanside destinations. In my opinion, its a serious hidden gem! Just a little over 3 hours north of San Francisco, the Mendocino Coast is often the perfect place for a destination wedding.

If your hosting an event for 30 of your nearest & dearest friends or inviting all your besties and family members you can make it happen & share a slice of California heaven!

Hosting your destination wedding on the Mendocino Coast

Step 1

Find your dream wedding venue. If you haven’t found the ONE just yet.. One of my favorites, mostly because of its jaw dropping views, is Hollys Ocean Meadow. The space is beautiful and ideal for a destination wedding. The space is customizable and allows for each couple to host a destination wedding that is so unique to who they are as a couple!

Step 2

You’re planing a destination wedding, so take advantage and plan out your entire weekend. Arrive a day, host a rehearsal dinner in town and make it a vacation. This town is so quaint, beautiful and unlink any other location in California it would be a shame to not make the most of your time in the area.

Step 3

Find your vendors! Don’t forget this is a small town, so vendors can get booked up quickly!

Destination wedding Ceremony on the Mendocino Coast

Know what your signing up for!

When you decide to plan a wedding on the Mendocino Coast you must know what you’re signing up for. Ill be the first to tell you that the weather is unpredictable! So be ready & prepare for it all and find a space that give you options.

At Hollys Ocean Meadow you will find a ceremony location over looking a private beach & bluff. When you rent the venue you have access to the house, hot tubs, botanical gardens & fire pits for the entire weekend. A huge plus to this property is you are able to have a tent! And i’m not talking about the funny pop up tents you see at backyard parties. Im talking fully draped, lined with lights, fun hanging decor.. really anything you can think of its do able!
