Bright and colorful are two words that perfectly describe the wedding of Kate + Alex hosted at The Stavrand, a Russian River wedding venue! During this event, the couple hosted an entire weekend on the grounds and rented out the entire property (all 6 acres and 21 rooms!) From the Taco bar rehearsal welcome dinner to the wedding, every detail was on point! Stick around to see for yourself.
The Setting really made the weekend. The Stavrand is a luxury boutique hotel nestled along the Russian River in Sonoma County. Every inch of the property including the common spaces, each uniquely designed room & all its out door spaces are drop dead gorgeous! They are so gorgeous, I’ll let these images speak for themselves…

On your wedding day, it’s so important to have a space that is clean and calming when you are getting ready. Having a designated space for getting ready creates an overall smoother process for you and your bridal party. In this case, Kate opted to get her hair and make up done with only her mom and mother in law to be! I love when brides put their mental health above all else and choose to have a peaceful space… It reminds me of the calm before the storm. Not only was the space perfect to get ready in, but it also created the perfect backdrop for photos and fun. Once the Bride was just about ready, her tribe came to celebrate with a glass of bubbles!
