Intimate Wedding in San Francisco, CA for Martin + Ashely as they say ‘I DO’

My first interaction with Martin and Ashley happened on Instagram as they casually slid into my DM’s. We began our conversation and they started asking about my intimate wedding planning services. I immediately responded and within minutes we were on the phone chatting like friends. We worked together to determine how we could plan their San Francisco Wedding at The Presidio Yacht Club. Like any couple Martin and Ashley had a very specific vision for their wedding and needed help with the execution. Martin and Ashley were thrilled to have found a wedding venue that allowed their vision to come to life under the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Intimate Wedding Venue

One of my favorite things about The Presidio Yacht Club is that its not your typical wedding venue. How often do you find an industrial wedding venue with the Golden Gate Bridge as your backdrop?

This industrial wedding venue in San Francisco is situated underneath the Golden Gate Bride just 20 miles from the San Francisco International Airport making it a perfect place for couples inviting guests from out of the area.

The building is unique, rustic and full of charm. A BIG appeal to couples looking at this wedding venue is its location. It’s located just outside the heart of San Francisco but you would never know once on the grounds. The traffic noise disappears and becomes minimized when surrounded by the beauty, boats, and sparkling lights of the city. These factors really help to take away from the busy hustle and bustle found in the middle of the city.

Displayed on the walls you will find boat memorabilia, chipped paint and fun photos showing the history of the club. Some might see these things as a draw back, but if you’re looking for a unique and industrial wedding venue, then this might be the place for you!

Getting Wedding Ready in San Francisco for an Intimate Wedding

One major factor when getting married is having a venue that provides space to keep bride and groom separate before walking down the aisle. Well, the Presidio Yacht Club has just that. Pictured below you will see the bride (Hi, Ashley!) in a backroom with her #girlgang and mother. You will also see Martin (the Groom!) and his best dudes enjoying a cold beer before walking down the aisle.

With the lights shining from the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Martin and Ashley were ready to dance the night away. We set the room with a head table fit for 10, and we used round tables for all the guests. We created the perfect set up that allowed for a small dance floor where the new Mr & Mrs shared a first dance together in front of their guests.

After the ceremony the new Bride and Groom posed in front of the Golden Gate Bridge located in San Francisco, CA. Martin + Ashley made sure to plan their wedding with intention. They invited their closest friends & family members to help celebrate this special time.
