Marissa (Hometown Gatherings) was an exceptional wedding coordinator! Due to pandemic limitations, we held a very unique wedding in which we had 3 different locations! We hired Marissa to be sure our day ran smoothly and we did not have to worry. She was flexible and really got to know us and our event. She was professional, and so helpful! She was sure everyone was where they needed to be at the right time. At one point we realized my change of shoes got left in my MOH's car, and she event left during dinner to retrieve the shoes! She really went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect for us!!
Marissa was hired as our Day of Coordinator after we had a terrible experience with another DoC. She was honestly the most efficient, thorough, and reliable vendor we hired for our special day. My husband and I planned our wedding well in advance, but of course last minute hiccups occurred, and Marissa was right there with us, willing and ready to make it alright. She even went above and beyond and checked the venue for a lost item after hours! I feel like we really got to know each other in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and I’m going to miss working with her
Having Marissa as our wedding coordinator was by far the best decision we made! She is so knowledgeable and experienced in hosting events. She gave us such great advice and did everything possible to make our backyard wedding vision come to life. She was also a really grounding presence throughout the whole process—reminding us that this day was about our love and to prioritize that. It was so nice to be able to fully let go on my wedding day and soak it all up without having to worry about anything. Our day simply wouldn't have been what it was without her!!
